Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
VPN.vu (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) is built on a simple principle: your online activity is yours. This policy explains exactly what we do and do not collect when you use the VPN.vu apps and servers.
1. What we do NOT collect
We operate a strict no-logs policy. We do not record, store, or share:
- Your browsing history, traffic, or the content of your communications.
- The websites, services, or IP addresses you connect to through the VPN.
- DNS queries made while connected.
- Connection or disconnection timestamps tied to your account.
- The originating IP address you connect to our servers from.
- Bandwidth logs tied to an individual user.
Because we do not keep these records, we cannot provide them to anyone — including ourselves.
2. What we DO collect
We collect the minimum required to operate the Service:
- Account number. Your account is a randomly generated number. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifier to create or use an account.
- Subscription validity. We store the expiry date associated with your account so the app knows whether your access is active.
- Aggregated, anonymous server metrics. We may measure aggregate server load (total active connections, throughput per server) to run the network reliably — not linked to any individual user.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party providers. When you pay with cryptocurrency, no personal information is required. We receive only confirmation that a payment was made for a given account and the corresponding plan duration. We never receive or store your payment card details or wallet identity.
4. How we use information
We use the limited information above solely to authenticate your account and provide VPN access, apply and renew your subscription, and keep the network running, secure, and adequately provisioned. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
5. Encryption and infrastructure
Connections use modern encryption (WireGuard®) with optional post-quantum key exchange. Traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted, and we continually work to minimize the data our servers hold.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We only share data with providers strictly necessary to operate the Service (e.g. the payment processor), and only the minimum required. We will only disclose information if compelled by a valid legal order — and because we keep no activity logs, there is no browsing or connection history to disclose.
7. Data retention
We retain account and subscription data only for as long as your account exists. Aggregated server metrics contain no personal data. Account data is deleted when an account is removed.
8. Your rights
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. Since accounts hold no personal identifiers, deleting your account removes the data associated with it.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for adults.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or our website.
